DML’s new line of products was missing it’s voice. The ‘Division’ look and feel was still being developed, but needed something more authentic. Rather than over-polishing the product images; smoothing over every wrinkle, manipulating every tiny bump in the mesh, we let something more real emerge.
Product Photography
The image sets make the cap feel like it’s spinning in front of you, not hiding anything. We made sure to add shadows to ground the caps and add that touch of realism. The ‘under’ angle mimics what you might see if you took your cap off your head and placed it on the table in front of you. A zoomed-in photo of the main logo or decoration technique is also included in the custom caps, showing off every tiny detail.

Lifestyle Photography
When shooting for the DML 2025 catalog, the marketing team had the chance to go out and make collaborations with other businesses and community organizations. We offered them personalized hats or aprons, and in return they became our models. Win win for everyone!

Website
When confronted with the fact that many clients had questions about the custom overseas program, we decided we needed to make our website our no.1 resource for both customers and DML employees. We created a series of pages designed to take you step by step along the process of choosing and ordering. From fabric colours to cap shapes, you can find anything and everything you need to know about the Custom Overseas Division Program.
