Type of work included in this project – Flyers, Web banners, Landing Pages, Email Campaigns.
Skills Developed – Meeting Deadlines, Team Collaboration, Time Management, Brand Consistency.
I had the privilege of completing my 3 week stage at Tenaquip, and was offered a 6 month contract directly after graduating. I ended up staying a total of 7 months, and I’m so grateful for everything I learned during my time working alongside such a wonderful team! I learned valuable real-life skills of working in an office, and learned how to mould my skills to fit the Tenaquip look and feel.
Flyers
These flyers were a regular part of my workload, often daily. Working on them helped me strengthen my attention to detail, ensuring consistent spacing and alignment within brand standards, and accurately placing all information and pricing. I also became more efficient in layout design, arranging elements so everything fit visually and clearly. I also developed strong time management skills by tracking each flyer’s progress, from translation to layout, in a shared file to keep everything on schedule.

Web Banners
Designing web banners taught me how to balance visual appeal with clear communication. I focused on keeping text legible, choosing fonts and layouts that were easy to read at a glance, while also making sure the product stood out right away. The goal was always to catch the customer’s eye and make it instantly clear what was being advertised.

Landing Page
Landing pages allowed us to take visual layouts and designs from email campaigns and translate them into functional, on-brand web pages. I had the opportunity to apply and strengthen my HTML and CSS skills, ensuring the designs were responsive, clean, and visually consistent across devices.

Email Campaigns
While the content was already provided to me, I enjoyed taking every email campaign and trying to make it stand out while sticking to the theme of the product selection. Here’s an ‘electrifying’ example:
